What is Vidfest?

WHAT
Vidfest is a teaching resource that guides you in creating a student-made online film festival.

WHY
SYN and the Foundation for Young Australians have created this resource to show you how easy and fun it is to create video in your classroom and publish it to a real, engaged online audience. Interactions between students and their online audience are moderated by SYN volunteers.

HOW
The Vidfest learning process comprises five workshops that take place in and around your classroom and one educator prep workshop that can be undertaken anywhere with internet access.

INTERESTED?
The Vidfest Overview (PDF) gives comprehensive guide to how it works.

You can run a vidfest using the workshop pages and video resources on this website

or

download the full Vidfest package of teacher guides and support materials if you wish to run Vidfest without needing constant internet access
