Get Cereal interviews award-winning artist Josh Muir

Ballarat Artist Josh Muir doesn’t usually paint on big canvas.
But his artwork will be projected across the walls of the National Gallery of Victoria this Saturday for White Night.
He is a multiple award winning artist and a Yorta Yorta – Gunditjmara man.
It’s the first time the 23-year-old’s art will be shown on a big scale.
His animations will tell the story of Indigenous Victorians, before and after white settlement.
His work shows the struggles of his people and his own personal history.
White Night Melbourne artistic director Andrew Walsh says Muir is an exciting and emerging young artist.
Josh joins Get Cereal Wednesday’s Maddy and Oliver.
