New museum to showcase Islamic history

Australia’s first Islamic museum will open in March 2014. The 10 million dollar institution has generated great public interest prior to opening its doors, because of its links with the national curriculum. Reporter Hollie Thwaites investigated the reasons behind establishing the museum with founder, Moustafa Fahour and education director Sherene Hassan. The museum aims to develop current understandings through offering a range of exhibitions about Islamic history.
