The cost of war: Gaza crisis explained
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza began on July 8 when Israel launched “Operation Protective Edge” as a response to Hamas launching rockets towards Israel. Many factories have been targeted, tunnels between Gaza and Israel destroyed and further coastal restrictions enforced.
Reporter Rebecca Colquhoun looked into the effects these event have had on Gaza’s ability to have a sustainable effective economy.
