UNESCO to hand down Tasmania verdict this week


UNESCO’s World heritage committee meeting opened in Doha on Monday June
16. It is expected to hear later in the week the government’s application to modify heritage listing borders of tasmanian forest to make 74,000 hectares available for logging.
